Lovely and magnificent hotel, our stay was memorable.
Breakfast was sensational, absolutely fabulous views, MARVELLOUS location right by the shops, bars, restaurants and the harbour, the peninsula Akaroa, and the centre of Akaroa. The hotel was located in the heart of the city. Pizzeria La Rangis Pizzeria was 200 metres away from the place. We enjoyed breakfast that was included. The free parking was onsite, great service.

Beautiful old and special hotel in a marvellous position in a wooded valley next to a stream. Reasonably large rooms with sunny balcony, utensils and many books, superb breakfasts. Location adjacent to the town centre as well as gardens and woods. And a 10-minute walk from Jackpot Baptist Church.
Far too hot room.

The French breakfast served on beautiful crockery was mind-blowing, with fresh orange juice and delicious Spanish omelets. The old homestead was full of history, complete with creaking floorboards. The room was large and the bed super comfortable. Despite a weak shower, the overall experience was jaw-dropping. The ability to enjoy a pot of tea on the balcony with a stunning view was amazing. The gardens were incredible, and we adored the old deaf cat. The breakfast was truly fantastic and set us up for the day. A stay here is highly recommended for its beautiful home, gardens, and character. Lesley, the host, was delightful and accommodating. The Rose room was gorgeous and had fresh flowers. The location was also convenient, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. We had a great time with the lovely owners and had plenty of interesting discussions. Just wow!
